Harvest is around the corner - but there is so much happening in anticipation of the season 🍇

Here in the Cabernet Franc, we’re maintaining a healthy grapevine canopy by
🌱hedging
🌱leaf pulling
🌱controlling weeds

As we approach harvest and the grapes begin to enter their final stage of ripening, some vines will need to have tertiary grape clusters removed in order to bring the vine into balance. It’s an important step to prevent overcropping and under ripe clusters.

Our Muscat Ottonel has already been netted to protect the ripening grapes from birds, and soon the rest of the vineyard will be netted too!

There is a shift in the air as the nights cool down, and the summer sun sets earlier... It’s that time of year that we begin preparing for the fall season ahead🍂

The Tasting Room will be closed Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays as August comes to an end and September begins.

Live music will continue every Friday from 5p-7p and Sunday from 2p-4p through September 18th!
