Ants in your home this spring didn’t just start… 🐜

Here in Snohomish County, all the rain, moisture, and damp wood create the perfect environment for ants to thrive 🌧️🪵

Most infestations actually begin in hidden areas like crawlspaces, behind siding, or around small leaks, so by the time you’re seeing ants inside, the colony is already established.

You might even notice more ants after treatment at first… that’s often a sign the bait is working and reaching the colony.

Spring doesn’t create the problem, it reveals it.
Staying ahead of moisture and catching issues early can make all the difference.

🐭 Rodent POV: When you find a broken dryer vent in the winter… jackpot.

Cold weather sends rats, mice, and squirrels searching for warmth—and tiny openings around your home are prime real estate.

Here are 4 things you can do today to help keep critters out this winter:

1️⃣ Check your dryer vent cover.
Make sure it’s intact, closes fully, and isn’t cracked or loose. This is one of the most common (and overlooked) entry points.

2️⃣ Inspect vents around crawlspaces and your home’s foundation.
Vent covers should be secure and undamaged—small gaps can invite big problems.

3️⃣ Store birdseed and pet food in sealed containers.
Open bags are basically an all-you-can-eat buffet for rodents.

4️⃣ Avoid leaving pet food or water out overnight.
It’s an easy food source for unwanted nighttime visitors.
A few quick checks now can save you a much bigger headache later.

Stay warm—and keep the critters outside where they belong. 🏠❄️
