Did you know many automatic transmissions have a replaceable filter? Its job is to collect debris and help keep the transmission fluid clean as it circulates.

Unfortunately, by the time this vehicle came to us, the transmission had already suffered internal damage. Preventive maintenance can’t guarantee that a component will never fail, but servicing your vehicle at the recommended intervals may help extend its life and reduce the risk of costly surprises.

Sure, they'd be too expensive to build, probably unsafe, and break almost instantly, but look how cool these cabins are.

One tiny crack… and suddenly the dashboard lights up like a Christmas tree. 🎄⚠️

This small crack in the ABS tone ring changed the spacing just enough that the vehicle could no longer read the correct wheel speed. That triggered the ABS, traction-control, and other warning lights.

So, what caused it? Good old New England rust. 😒

Rust built up underneath the ring, pushed it outward, and eventually caused it to split. We replaced the hub assembly, restored the proper wheel-speed reading, and got the vehicle safely back on the road.

The important takeaway: warning lights don’t always mean several things have failed. Sometimes, one small problem can trigger multiple alerts. That’s why proper testing and an accurate diagnosis matter.
