"I Want To Use Springfield Collision, But Insurance Tells Me I Need To Use a Shop They're Directing Me To, What Can I Do?"

Many insurance companies use what’s called a direct repair program or “DRP” with a collision center (or centers) willing to enter into such an agreement. While many people may assume these programs are “awarded” to a shop due to the quality of work they perform, the reality can be the exact opposite. These programs, unfortunately, are more based on the insurance company supplying a steady amount of new business to a participating shop (thus relieving a body shop the expense and burden of advertising) in exchange for accepting much lower rates and many times cheaper aftermarket parts to repair a vehicle thus saving the insurance company money, lots of money. The quality of the work and the time it takes to fix your vehicle, however, is what typically suffers as a result.

Springfield Collision would like to thank all of our clients for their patience and our employees for their hard work over this past year as we saw an unprecedented number of vehicles needing repairs due to last years spring storm events. During that time we did our absolute best to get vehicles scheduled within a three week time frame. We know how critical it is to get your vehicle scheduled and repaired in a timely manor.
