😁😁 I FEEL SO PROUD OF MYSELF RIGHT NOW! 😁😁

I officially consider myself a heart surgeon for my embroidery machines! Today, I successfully performed a BYPASS on a motherboard! 😂🩺❤️

Yesterday, life was beautiful. I finished my workday just like any other normal day. Everything was running perfectly.

Then came this morning…

I turned on my computer, switched on my embroidery machines, and ONE of them decided not to show up in the system. 😳

I called the technician, and he remotely connected to my computer to come to the rescue.

“Unscrew this, remove that, take this cover off…”

And there I was, in a hurry, unscrewing everything like I knew exactly what I was doing! 😂

The plan was to connect the Ethernet cable directly to the motherboard to find out if the connector was the problem.

But then… THE INTERNET WENT DOWN! 🤦‍♀️

The technician got disconnected, customers walked in, and I told him, “I’ll call you later!”

After the customers left, I looked at my poor machine, sitting there with its guts hanging out, and thought…

“Hmmm… I kinda know what he was trying to do!” 🤔

The hardest part was figuring out how to move the motherboard and locate the right connection. Instead of plugging the cable into the machine’s usual port, I connected it directly to the motherboard.

Now, let me tell you… my hands were shaking MORE than they normally do!

I kept thinking, “What if I turn this thing on and it EXPLODES?!” 💥😂

OH BOY!

But I trusted my instincts, which have rarely failed me, and went for it!

AND GUESS WHAT???

IT WORKED!!! 🎉🎉🎉

They’re going to send me the replacement part, but in the meantime, I figured out how to keep my machine running!

She currently has what looks like an IV hanging out of her, but her heart is beating, she’s breathing, and I believe she’s going to survive until her new organ arrives! 😂❤️

Surgery successful. Patient stable. Surgeon extremely proud! 👩‍⚕️🪡🧵

Not bad for an embroidery lady who never went to medical school! 😂

And right now, I FEEL AMAZING! 😁😁😁❤️

Now in its 16th year, the Springfield SOB Oyster and B**r Festival returns for another unforgettable afternoon of craft b**r, fresh oysters, live music, great food, and good company. 🎶

The Ansar Shriners are proud to carry this longtime community favorite forward alongside longtime organizers Karen and Court Conn, bringing the festival to its new home while preserving everything that has made SOB a Springfield tradition.

Some orders are more than just another sweatshirt.

A customer brought us a simple line drawing of her boyfriend’s dog and asked if we could turn it into embroidery. Then she shared the story behind it.

The sweet old guy can’t go on walks anymore, so she brought him with her and we got to meet him. The best part? The stitched portrait looks exactly like him.

There’s something special about taking a drawing that means so much to someone and watching it come to life one stitch at a time.

This is why we love what we do. Every design has a story—and sometimes that story has four paws.

Watch this one come together from the very first stitch to the finished piece. We think you’ll agree… it turned out paw-fect. 🐾

I am proud to share that Isabella and I graduated as part of the very first class of the Springfield Minority Business Institute!

Over the past several weeks, we had the opportunity to learn from city departments, community leaders, and local organizations about business development, networking, city processes, and opportunities available to small businesses here in Springfield.

As the owner of A to Zee Embroidery, I am always looking for ways to grow, learn, and better serve our customers and community. This program gave us valuable knowledge, new connections, and inspiration for the future of our business.

I want to thank Director Ethan Posey and the Springfield Office of Community Relations for helping make this program possible, along with the City of Springfield and everyone involved in creating this opportunity for local businesses.

Congratulations to all of the graduates from this inaugural class. We are excited for what comes next for A to Zee Embroidery!
