As our summer internship comes to a close, we want to thank Shawn Edmondson, for the outstanding job he did this summer!

Shawn jumped right in from day one, bringing a fresh perspective, an eagerness to learn, and his engineering background to the NewSpace team. We’ve loved having him with us this summer and can’t wait to see what’s ahead for him at Notre Dame and beyond.

This past weekend, we had the honor of creating a custom NewSpace closet for Melody as part of her dream bedroom makeover with Special Spaces St. Louis—an incredible organization creating spaces where local children battling cancer can feel comfortable, hopeful, and simply be kids.

A special thank you to our designer, installer, manufacturing team, and everyone at Special Spaces who helped bring this beautiful room to life. We’re so grateful to have played a small part in something so meaningful. ✨
