Building Financial Resilience for Life's Biggest Transitions

Financial resilience isn't built when life is easy—it is forged in the moments that challenge us most. That belief isn't just the foundation of my work—it was shaped by my own life. In 2023, a sudden neurological medical event changed everything. What began as the worst migraine of my life quickly became a medical emergency, leading to

hospitalization and months of rehabilitation. While recovery required patience, perseverance, and redefining what was possible, it also gave me something invaluable: a renewed perspective on what truly matters. My greatest health challenge became the catalyst for helping others build financial resilience. For more than 20 years, I've helped individuals, families, and business owners strengthen their financial wellness through every stage of life. My background in both financial advising and regulatory compliance allows me to simplify complex financial topics, uncover potential blind spots, and help people make informed decisions with greater clarity and confidence. That same passion for resilience extends beyond my profession. As a 500-hour Certified Pilates Instructor, I believe our physical health and financial wellness are deeply connected. Both require intentional habits, adaptability, and the commitment to keep moving forward—even when life doesn't unfold as planned. My mission is simple:

To help people build financial resilience for life's biggest transitions. Whether you're navigating a career change, divorce, widowhood, a health event, an inheritance, retirement, or simply seeking greater confidence in your financial future, I'm here to help you rebuild, renew, and rise with greater purpose and clarity. I have a special passion for empowering women as they prepare for one of the greatest wealth transfers in history. My goal is to provide the education, guidance, and support that helps them make informed decisions, protect what matters most, and create a legacy that extends far beyond finances. Because financial wellness isn't just about preparing for tomorrow. It's about creating the freedom, confidence, and resilience to fully live today. If my story, philosophy, and approach resonate with you, I'd love to connect.

Living longer doesn’t automatically mean living better.

Healthy Aging Month is a reminder that how we age is shaped by more than just time. Staying active, mentally sharp, and socially connected all play a role—and so does the ability to support those lifestyles over time.

Small, consistent habits—both physical and financial—can influence what those years look like.

Get ready fellow migraine sufferers...the full moon is tomorrow & you may already be experiencing migraine pain. Below is an article that goes over other migraine triggers.

For me personally, I've had one of the worst migraines in a long time over the last couple of days (full moon & weather - the double whammy). Does the full moon affect you in any way?

It's one of the things I track for my neurologist. It's amazing what patterns start to arise when you are listening to your body and tracking in a health app or a simple journal.

What experiences have you had regarding migraine triggers?

It's official...I passed the 500-hour Pilates Certification program along with my friend, Jackie! 🤩 🥳 🙌

Pilates has become an essential part of my healing journey. Originally, I wanted to refine my own practice & form, finding the mind-body connection to improve my personal health, one day at a time.

Over the last 18 months, it has morphed into a renewed passion for helping others bringing together 2 worlds.

I believe our physical health and financial wellness are deeply connected.

Strength Through Change. Confidence for Life. I can't wait to see where this next chapter leads!

Artificial intelligence can analyze data and automate routine tasks, but it can’t replace a nuanced understanding of individual circumstances, emotions and long-term goals. Your financial professional does what algorithms can’t.

This is a hypothetical example and is not representative of any specific investment or combination of investments. Illustration assumes Early Investor contributes $10,000 annually to a tax-deferred retirement account for ten years, while Late Investor contributes $10,000 annually for thirty years. Both accounts earn a hypothetical 6 percent annual rate of return. Consider your ability to make contributions over time before committing to a long-term strategy.

The early investor put in $100,000.
The late investor put in $300,000.

They ended up with nearly the same amount.

Let that sink in.

Starting early didn't just save money—it saved $200,000 in contributions. Same destination, a third of the effort. That's not a financial trick. That's time doing what money alone never can.

If you've been waiting for the "right time" to start investing, this chart is your sign. Save this post and share it with someone who needs to see it.

Feeling behind on retirement savings at 50+? SECURE 2.0 might help more than you think.

A few key changes worth knowing:

📈 Bigger catch-up contributions — up to $8,000 extra in 2026, or $11,250 if you're 60–63 (total possible: $35,750).

🔄 If you earned $150K+ in 2025, your workplace plan catch-up contributions now go into Roth — paying tax now on the "seeds" instead of later on the "harvest" can actually work in your favor.

⏳ RMD age is now 75 for anyone born in 1960 or later — more time to grow your money and plan strategically.

🧩 Here's the thing: Social Security, IRAs, and 401(k)s don't work in isolation. How you contribute now — and how you withdraw later — needs to be one coordinated plan, not three separate decisions.

A late start doesn't have to mean a bad outcome — the rules have shifted in ways that can genuinely help.

If you're 50+ and want to talk through what this means for you, let's connect. 📩
