CCD Homecare Services is proudly licensed by the State of Ohio to provide non-medical home care services to individuals and families throughout our community.

At this time, we are not certified as a Medicaid waiver provider. Due to current state enrollment and certification limitations affecting new home care agencies, we are presently unable to bill Medicaid for services. However, we continue to provide high-quality private pay home care services to those in need.

As I tried to get my business CCD Homecare services certified to provide much needed services in Portage, Summit, Cuyahoga, Mahoning, and Stark counties, I had an appointment yesterday but this is what I received from the state:

We were instructed this morning by Ohio Department of Aging (AGE) that all precertification reviews should be canceled as any pending application is to be denied due to the 6-month moratorium for new Medicaid providers ordered by the Governor.

I have 25 years experience in healthcare, certified medication technician, phlebotomist, certified in dementia patients, associate degree in paralegal, and bachelor’s degree in business management. I’m willing to donate 2 hours of my Saturday and Sunday to any seniors in need of help. Free home safety check, medication reminder and management, light house cleaning, laundry, and light meal prep.
