With four months left in 2026, this is a good time to pause and take stock.

Teams are reviewing goals, wrapping up projects, preparing budgets, and planning for 2027. At the same time, everyone is managing deadlines, shifting priorities, and packed calendars.

Before the final stretch turns into a sprint, consider something that may not appear on your year-end checklist:

How are you showing up for your team?

In this week’s blog, Tonya DeVane explores how greater self-awareness can strengthen individual performance and create healthier, more effective teams.

Read the blog to learn why better teams often start with more self-aware people.

Application season can come with a lot of numbers: grades, test scores, rankings, acceptance rates.

But there’s something just as important to consider: you.

Your strengths. Your personality. The way you learn, work, and see your future.

This fall, as you think about what comes next, make sure there’s room for who you are in the decision too. 🍂

This summer, Keather Snyder and Naomi Viglas hopped on the St. Pete Looper for a day out around downtown St. Pete, bringing along Shaliya Khan, Omnia's marketing partner, for a firsthand taste of the local scene.

The free shuttle connects shops, dining, and local events across downtown, and the three of them made the most of the ride, turning it into a marketing brainstorm on wheels before wrapping up the afternoon at the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce.

Turns out, that pace came naturally — all three share a tall Column 5, fast-paced, and it showed. Despite the heat, the ideas kept up with the trolley the whole way. Some of the best marketing conversations happen on the go, after all.

Are you developing leaders or just delegating work?

In this week's blog, Keather Snyder shares a personal story and an uncomfortable truth: most leaders are reluctant delegators — and it's rarely about trust or control. It runs deeper than that.

Read the blog to learn what it actually takes to delegate to elevate someone, and the real payoff for leaders who make the shift.

Day of Connection 💙

Two weeks ago, Team Omnia stepped away from our day-to-day routines for a Day of Connection at the St. Petersburg Shuffleboard Club.

There was a little rain, a lot of laughter, some friendly competition, and plenty of opportunities to reconnect outside the office.

As a virtual team, days like these matter. They give us the chance to share experiences and enjoy the conversations that make working together even better.

A special thank you to Naomi Viglas for bringing this Day of Connection to life and creating another opportunity for our team to come together. And thank you to Tom Rocca for introducing us to one of St. Pete’s most iconic pastimes and making us feel right at home.

Here’s to our team, our Day of Connection, and the connections that make Omnia such a special place to work.

Our Senior Manager of Product Development & Optimization, Jennifer Lucas, recently returned to her old Lutz neighborhood, just a short walk from the Lutz Train Depot and Bullard Park, where she once lived and where her son was born and raised.

Always methodical, true to her Omnia personality, The Administrator, tall Column 6, Jen turned the visit into a then-and-now moment with her son, recreating a jump he used to make as a little kid. Getting a teenager to jump off the same spot now? That took some convincing.

Is the Omnia Behavioral Assessment similar to MBTI?

The short answer is no. And the distinction matters.

MBTI sorts people into one of 16 fixed personality types and was built for self-awareness, team building, and communication training—not hiring.

In fact, the Myers-Briggs Company itself states MBTI "shouldn't be used in hiring" because it hasn't been validated for employment selection decisions.

The Omnia Behavioral Assessment, in contrast, is purpose-built and validated for employment use. It measures where someone falls on a spectrum of workplace behavioral traits, compares those against the specific needs of the job, and is backed by decades of EEOC-compliant validation research designed specifically to predict on-the-job fit.

If you’re evaluating behavioral assessments, understanding these differences can help you choose the right tool for the decisions you’re making.

Learn more about how behavioral assessments differ—and what to look for before choosing one.
