So… what exactly is eSmart Recycling? 👀

We’re the people you call when there’s a whole lot of technology sitting around that your business doesn’t need anymore.

Laptops, computers, servers, printers, cables… yes, we get plenty of cables 😂

We pick everything up, go through the equipment, make sure the data is handled securely, and figure out what happens next. Some equipment can keep going, some needs a little repair, and some has simply reached the end of its useful life.

One of the best parts is seeing what happens to the equipment that still has some life left. We repair some of it and, together with Digital Education Foundation, help get that technology to people and communities who really need it. 💚

This all started back in 2014 in Tampa Bay, and we’ve been doing this ever since.

So yeah, our days involve a lot of computers, servers, pallets, cables, and plenty of “what is this thing?” moments 😂

You never really know what’s going to come through that door.

But whatever it is, we’ll take care of it!!!

Yesterday was a very special day for eSmart Recycling 💚

Our CEO, Tony Selvaggio, was recognized as a 2026 Legacy Leader and TBBA Alumni by the Tampa Bay Chamber

It was a moment to celebrate with the people who have been part of Tony’s story and eSmart’s story here in Tampa Bay.

And there’s a detail we really love: Tony’s name will be engraved on a personalized granite paver along the Tampa Riverwalk

A small piece of his story will soon become part of a place that means so much to our community.

Congratulations, Tony. We’re proud to have you leading eSmart 💚

At Cristo Rey Tampa Salesian High School, we had the opportunity to provide 60 laptops to senior students alongside the Sheriff's Hispanic Advisory Council.

We love seeing what happens when a computer that has already served one chapter finds a new purpose in the hands of someone who needs it.

For these students, each laptop can be there for classes, assignments, projects, and everything that comes next.

Seeing their faces as they received their laptops and shared the moment with their classmates reminded us why giving technology a second life means so much to us.

Thank you to the Sheriff's Hispanic Advisory Council for trusting eSmart Recycling, and to Cristo Rey Tampa for welcoming us so warmly. 💚

We’ll keep working to give more technology a second life and get it into the hands where it can make a real difference.
