Established in 1987, Southwest Scenic Group started as a backyard operation, which serviced the Arizona Film industry. As the filming boom dissipated, our focus switched to Corporate Productions. We’ve amassed an extensive inventory, and over the years have grown into a valuable resource for our clients - one project at a time. We pride ourselves on a reputation that is based on quality and service.

Neon, Nashville, and Scenic That Hits the Right Note 🎸✨

For this event, the goal wasn't just to build a stage—it was to create a Nashville-inspired environment that guests felt the moment they walked into the room.

Custom scenic walls with integrated LED edge lighting framed the main screen, while a glowing neon-style header tied the entire design together. Our team extended the look beyond the stage with illuminated guitar elements, edge-lit staging, and clean masking that kept the focus on the experience.

What makes this setup special is how the scenic, lighting, and content all work together. The screen delivers the message, but the surrounding scenic creates the atmosphere, turning a ballroom into something that feels distinctly Nashville.

For WordCamp US 2026 at the Phoenix Convention Center, our team helped bring a cohesive visual identity to the entire event footprint.

From the main general session to breakout rooms, workshops, and studio spaces, we provided custom scenic elements including printed backdrops, dimensional logos, branded lectern surrounds, and Arizona-inspired cutouts that tied every room together. The result was an experience that felt connected no matter where attendees gathered.

A favorite detail has to be the oversized lettering and dimensional branding elements. Large-format pieces like these help transform a standard meeting space into an event environment that feels memorable, intentional, and uniquely tied to the host city.

For the Opening & Closing Ceremonies of the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games at Huntington Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, MN, our team was honored to help bring the stage to life with bold scenic elements designed for scale, movement, and celebration.

A sweeping proscenium arch wrapped in vibrant graphics and custom icons framed the stage, turning it into a true focal point across the stadium. The athlete entry bridge created a powerful pathway into the moment, connecting the crowd to every entrance with purpose and energy.

From printed graphics and scenic wraps to carpeted pathways, stage finishes, and lighting integration, every detail was built to support an experience that’s larger than the event itself.

When the stage carries this much meaning, every detail matters.

For this event at the Hotel del Coronado, our goal was to transform a modern ballroom into a space that felt like it belonged to another era.

From brick textures and pier pilings wrapped in rope to antique pulleys, lanterns, and vintage props, every scenic element helped build the story.

Even the lighting positions were dressed in scenic finishes, blending seamlessly into the environment instead of standing out.

Layered soft goods in rich tones framed the space, while textures, materials, and details worked together to create depth and authenticity from floor to ceiling.

It’s not just about what’s on stage—it’s about creating a world your audience can step into.
