I am deeply saddened to announce the passing of my mother, Edith Edwards, the proprietor of Edwards Pest Control, on Wednesday, June 25, 2025. Following 42 years of operation, I have made the decision to close Edwards Pest Control. I have sold all Termite Renewals and Commercial, Monthly, and Quarterly Services accounts to Arnold's Pest Control. Don't worry about the expiration date on these coupons. The representative who handles our phone book adds, web page, Google links & ads forgot to go in & change expiration date on coupons. Every site shows out of date but I will & have been accepting them. I didn't realize until it was pointed out to me recently.

It's Mosquito Season! Did you know the diseases mosquitos carry are the number one killer in the world's population each year? Or that mosquitoes are the reason that dogs get heart worms?
I'm offering customers a choice this season between bait stations, chemical treatment, or both stations & chemical treatments together.
Our chemical treatment plan setup on a Monthly basis. We do offer a Quarterly, I don't recommend it unless you're living in a low-med. population. It does cost more, the few chemicals that have a 90 day residual are lot more expensive.
I use CSI ProFlex & DuraFlex
These both have a micro-capsulated adultside & two growth regulators, one being capsulated. I have them on a 90 day rotation to keep insects from building a resistance. As pest professionals we have a different outlook. We make a list of everything needs to be removed, repaired, replaced, or anything neighbors can do to help also so customer can pass message along. We try to do this before any treatment process in heavy infections or close housing.

Monthly Mosquito Plans Start at $75.00 with a $125.00 initial for Monthly Chemical Treatments for up to 1/2 acre.

ALL INSPECTIONS ARE FREE!!!

Sometimes it's cheaper to call a professional. That damp crawlspace you just put plastic under to fix, the plastic that wasn't anchored down. It didn't need to be installed. Because you forgot about the manual vents that you never touched. They been shut for years, now your humility went Southern to Tropical Jungle. That's why the plastic is wadding up together & the insulation is sagging or laying on the ground. Because past few years being damp & soacked the paper backing rotted away.

Our entry level v***r barriers are offered in a 4mil or a 6mil plastic & fastened to the ground using special 15ga 3"x3.5" anchoring staple coated for rust prevention.
I do all the inspections. I run a wood moisture check, temperature variance in/out of the crawlspace, humidity check, & check the vents for operation.

A Crawlspace Job we recently finished.

Now days everyone wants you to believe that you have to have a enclosed crawlspace. Enclosed crawlspaces are the way to go in our erea. Especially if you are interested in lowering electric bill & increasing your homes value.
But not everyone can afford their crawlspace enclosed with a large dehumidifier controlling humidity. Sometimes we have to make do. Like use a standard 4 or 6 mil plastic floor v***r barrier. Or repair a crawlspace door & use sealant to ensure a tight, pest & moisture free seal.
