Performance tip from Dr. Don Greene’s book Audition Success: Find your Center before your performance- Located 2 inches below your belly button and 2 inches in. Breathe 3x deeply into this Center point with your eyes closed. On the third inhale & exhale, choose an adjective you wish your performance to embody. Open your eyes, find the object to which you are directing your focus, and sing.

Beatriz Cavalieri (actor/singer) shares songs & stories from her new cabaret "Home" at our free live stream event Courageous Craft: Artist Sharing tomorrow, Sat 2/26 @ 11am EST! Beatriz is a Brazilian actress, singer, producer and teaching artist who grew up listening to Brazilian Bossa Nova and dancing Samba. Her love for musical theatre brought her to NYC, where she has performed in immersive Off-Broadway shows & starred in films such as Sofia in "I'm No Longer An Artist", Michelle de los Santos in "Infelicitous", Samantha in "Winning New York", & Isabel in the bilingual feature film "Amor Fati".
