Lithium batteries are very dangerous and should never be placed in with your trash.

The following items are just a few that contain lithium batteries:
- Smartphones
- Smartwatches
- Vapes
- Power Tools
- E-Bikes
- Scooters
- Power Banks

Old lithium batteries can be dropped off at the following locations:
• Lowe’s
• Home Depot
• Best Buy
• Staples
• Battery Plus

RULE, if a battery can be recharged, it needs special disposal.

After our truck fire, many of you asked numerous questions about Lithium Ion Batteries: What do they look like? Why do they cause fires? How do we mitigate damage and keep our homes safe?

We took it upon ourselves to dig a little deeper, find resources, and help educate everyone so we can work together to prevent these fires from happening.
