"I was dreamin' when I wrote this." but In the age of AI, are we forgetting how?
They say AI is the most critical tool of our lifetime, and I agree. It can organize our thoughts and accelerate our ideas in ways we're only beginning to understand. As Thanos said, "Dread it. Run from it. Destiny arrives all the same.”
But what about the magic that happens before the tool?
I’m talking about the feeling of a new idea sparking in your mind. The energy in a room filled with whiteboards, debates, and collaboration. The beautiful, messy process of human error and triumph that AI can't replicate. That connection—that dopamine high from people creating something new together—is a part of our intelligence we must protect.
I just wrote an article exploring this vital balance between human ingenuity and artificial intelligence. It's a call to action to intentionally disconnect, to embrace our uniquely human traits, and to never stop "dreaming," even if we go astray.
Before you read it, I'd love to know: How do you make space for creative, unplugged thinking in your work?
Let's start a conversation.

AI is Cool, but never get rid of your whiteboards, dry erasers and conversations with people
