Greencastle Antrim Middle School provided "Make A Difference Day". Hearthstone Retirement Home was honored to been chosen the past few years for students, teachers and parents for their visit. The students were visiting with residents and they did crafts, nail painting, games, snacks and outside work to spruce up the facility grounds. The residents truly enjoy spending a few hours with the students. The residents continue to talk highly of how they enjoyed the students visits and how the students interaction with them was very positive. The impact that the students have had on each of the residents is truly a blessing that words can not describe. Thank you to each student, the following teachers, parents and the GASD for the allowing Hearthstone Retirement Home to be chosen location! We are truly blessed!!! Thank you to:

FULL-TIME RESIDENT ASSISTANT OPENINGS!

3pm-11pm & 11pm-7am; WITH EVERY OTHER WEEKEND

The Resident Assistant is to provide personal care to residents in facility.
Responsibilities include:
• Assisting with ADL's/IADL's, administer medication, housekeeping, laundry. Benefits include: Medical, Dental, Holiday, Vacation and Sick Time

Days/Nights vary and weekends are a must.

Ensure residents and facility is safe, secure and maintained in a attractive manner.

Responsibilities include:
• Preparing daily meals in a timely manner such as cooking, making & serving
• Ensuring food safety & good personal hygiene
• Cleaning, Sanitizing, organizing of kitchen/dining room
• Provide Proper nutrition guidelines, recipes & portion controls

LPN – Full Time

Mon-Fri 8a-4p, occasional evenings/weekends.

Provide professional nursing care to geriatric residents to include: monitor residents’ health care, including recording/reporting symptoms, changes in conditions including physical and emotional status. Develop quality nursing care plans and maintain medical records. Administer medications/treatments as ordered.

Must have an active LPN license in PA, current CPR certified and prior experience in a healthcare or senior living.
