🍂🥶 TEMPS ARE DROPPING, THE HEAT IS ON… BUT WHAT ABOUT THE A/C? 🏡

Here’s something every homebuyer should know!

🌡️ When outdoor temperatures drop below approximately 60–65°F, your home inspector may NOT be able to safely operate and test your air conditioning system. Running it in colder temperatures could potentially damage the equipment.

⚠️ That means you could be buying a home without knowing if the A/C actually works!

💡 HOW CAN YOU PROTECT YOURSELF?

✅ Talk to your real estate attorney about options to protect yourself if the A/C can’t be tested before closing.

✅ Consider a home warranty that includes A/C coverage, and be sure to review the exclusions and limitations.

✅ Ask for maintenance records and the system’s service history.

🏡 Remember: Just because your inspector can’t test it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t plan for it!

Protect yourself BEFORE closing, not when it’s 95° outside and the A/C won’t turn on! 🥵

Our plan and God’s plan are two very different things.

So often, we get caught up in what WE want, what WE think success looks like, and where WE believe we should be in life. But the truth is, we’re all broken people who constantly move the goalposts. We reach one goal, and before we even appreciate it, we’re already chasing the next.

But when we take our eyes off ourselves and fix them on the One who created it all, we begin to understand something much bigger. God’s plan IS the plan.

Whether that means serving others as a home inspector, Realtor, doctor, police officer, or whatever calling God has placed on our lives, there is purpose in it all.

Through the good transactions and the bad ones. Through the victories and disappointments. Through healthy days and seasons of sickness and healing. Through doors opening and doors closing.

I’ve learned that my job isn’t to understand every twist and turn along the way. My job is to keep my eyes on Him, trust His timing, serve others, and remain faithful.

Because sometimes what feels like a setback to us is exactly where God needs us to be.

I find peace in knowing that as long as my eyes are fixed on Him, I’m following the plan. Even when the road is difficult, even when it doesn’t make sense, and even when things don’t turn out the way I hoped.

It’s not always about getting where WE want to go. It’s about becoming who HE created us to be along the way.
