New scam your team needs to know about right now 🚨

Hackers are using fake Google security pages to trick users into installing apps that steal passwords AND bypass multi-factor authentication. The pages look completely real.

The rule is simple and absolute: Google will never tell you to install an app to protect your account. If a page says "install this to stay safe" - that IS the scam. Forward this to your team today.

A phishing campaign is using a fake Google Account security page to deliver a web-based app capable of stealing one-time passcodes, harvesting cryptocurrency wallet addresses, and proxying attacker traffic through victims' browsers.

Stryker in Portage was targeted by an attack that used Microsoft Intune - a tool built to manage devices - to wipe 80,000 of them. No password cracked. No phishing clicked. Just misconfigured access permissions.

If your business uses any device management platform, now is the time to verify who has access and exactly what they are permitted to do with it.

CISA warned U.S. organizations to follow Microsoft guidance to strengthen the Intune endpoint management tool after a cyberattack exploited it to wipe medical technology giant Stryker's systems.

A Background Security Update that patches vulnerabilities on your iPhone or Mac without a full system restart. Silent. Automatic. Already working.

Quick check: Settings > General > Software Update - make sure automatic updates are on. Your device handles the rest.

Apple has released its first Background Security Improvements update to fix a WebKit flaw tracked as CVE-2026-20643 on iPhones, iPads, and Macs without requiring a full operating system upgrade.

Before you connect them to your data, get answers to three questions: Does this tool train on my inputs? How long does it store what I share? Is my data isolated from other customers?

Important distinction your business needs to know ☁️
Cloud SYNC (OneDrive, Google Drive) = your files update everywhere in real time.
Cloud BACKUP = an isolated copy that ransomware cannot reach or overwrite.

If ransomware hits and your "backup" is just sync, those encrypted files will overwrite your clean ones in minutes. Does your business have a true backup, or just sync?
