Thousands of years ago, a similar textile that this top is made from was being woven by a weaver. They used the same motions, the same tension, and the same natural cotton. When we wear handwoven pieces, we are pulling a thread from the past into the present…and for the most part, we still seek comfort, connection, and the touch of something made by hand. Fulfilled to be able to bring this into our current world. Keep on. ☁️ 🤲🏽

Truly a 💫

There is a specific kind of uplift that happens when you surround yourself with things that were made slowly and with intention. 🍓

I’ve been spending time with the Strawberry Field coverlet lately; it’s been a bedspread, a picnic base, and a shield against the sea breeze. What I love most isn’t just the earthy stripes (though that sun-drenched pink against the blue water is everything), it’s the way the hand-spun cotton feels a little more substantial every time it’s washed.

It’s block-printed by hand, so the stripes aren’t “perfect,” which is exactly the point. It has a human touch, which in this day and age is a grounding luxury. It feels like it has a story before it even reaches your home.

Whether you’re taking it to the coast or just draping it over the foot of your bed to catch the morning light, I hope it brings a bit of that slow, magical handmade energy into your day.
