Sometimes it’s not the procedure that creates the problem.
It’s what happens when the patient goes home.

A middle-aged Labradoodle came home after a routine dental cleaning and quickly became fixated on her shaved IV catheter site. Within a short time, persistent licking had turned the site into a lick granuloma, creating a healing challenge after an otherwise routine procedure.
