HIJACKED VEHICLE RECOVERED

Sentinel Security recovered a Hyundai H100 following a vehicle hijacking with the driver being abducted.

A lookout alert was circulated, and a tip-off that the vehicle had been sighted in Soweto led Sentinel Security teams to the area.

The vehicle was successfully located and recovered. Further inspection showed that suspects fitted false registration plates in an attempt to disguise the vehicle.

The driver was subsequently located unharmed at a nearby police station.

Thank you to intelligence channels for providing the tip-off, and well done to Sentinel Security teams involved in the successful recovery.

SUSPECTS ARRESTED AFTER SUCCESSFUL SATURATION

Request for assistance received from the Brackendowns Community Policing Forum after reports that two suspects jumped into resident's property.

Sentinel Security Armed Response & Tactical Officers joined private security companies and community policing members in saturating the area.

Both suspects were located and detained after short search. Stolen property, a replica firearm, & housebreaking implements were recovered.

Suspects handed over to SAPS for further processing.

Well done to everyone involved for the teamwork & dedication in helping to keep the Brackendowns community safe.

SUSPECT ARRESTED

A suspect entered a Sentinel Security client's site and stole an air conditioning unit.

CCTV footage provided a clear description of the suspect.

At a later stage, Sentinel Security patrol officers identified an individual matching the description at a nearby location.

The suspect was detained and arrested after admitting to the theft.

Suspect handed over to SAPS for further investigation and processing.

SENTINEL SECURITY NEWS AND ALERTS

Sentinel Security Control Room received a distress call from a client's premises and immediately dispatched Sentinel Security teams.

Upon arrival, Sentinel Security officers encountered an aggressive individual who attempted to flee the scene.

Officers pursued the suspect on foot and successfully apprehended him without further incident.

The reason for the individual's aggressive behaviour remains unknown. Once the suspect had calmed down, he was escorted away from the premises.

Well done Sentinel Security teams for the swift response and professionalism in bringing the incident to a safe and controlled conclusion.

SAPS District Operation | Brackendowns Precinct

Sentinel Security was recently invited to participate in the SAPS District Operation within the Brackendowns SAPS precinct.

Sentinel Security Tactical Teams worked alongside law enforcement agencies, private security, and community stakeholders in a coordinated crime deterrence operation.

The high-density operation included stop and searches, saturation patrols, and a major roadblock, resulting in several arrests for the possession of drugs, illegal immigration offences, traffic-related violations, and other offences.

This successful operation demonstrates the importance of coordinated efforts between law enforcement, private security, and community stakeholders in deterring crime and enhancing public safety.
