📢 Operations Fleet Controller – Parow Industrial, Western Cape
🚚 We’re looking for a highly organized and proactive Operations Fleet Controller to oversee and manage fleet operations involving tipper trucks and links.
This is a semi-permanent position starting with a 1-month fixed-term contract, with the opportunity for extension thereafter.
🎯 Key Responsibilities:
✔ Monitor and manage daily fleet operations to ensure efficient dispatch and delivery
✔ Coordinate with drivers and team members to optimize routes and schedules
✔ Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, maintenance & fuel consumption
✔ Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies
✔ Conduct vehicle inspections and safety audits
✔ Handle operational issues and emergencies efficiently
✔ Analyse fleet performance data and generate reports
✔ Collaborate with departments to ensure smooth operations & customer satisfaction
✅ Qualifications & Experience:
✔ High school diploma or equivalent
✔ Additional logistics/transport qualifications (advantageous)
✔ Proven experience as a Fleet Controller or similar role
✔ Strong knowledge of fleet management systems & tools
✔ Experience with GPS tracking & Cartrack systems
✔ Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures
✔ Excellent organizational & multitasking skills
✔ Strong problem-solving ability & attention to detail
✔ Valid driver’s license (Code 08 or higher)
✔ Fluent in Afrikaans (read, write & speak)

✔ Ability to analyse data and improve operational efficiency
💰 Salary: R20 000 – R30 000 p/m (depending on experience)
