💗 A Day of Awareness, Remembrance & Hope 💗
Today at FATS, we came together to recognise Cancer Awareness Month with a special day filled with pink, thoughtful moments, and
something far more meaningful than celebrations alone. 🎗️
While we shared a few treats and special moments as a team, we also took time to remember loved ones whose lives have been touched by cancer, and to stand in support of those who are still fighting this difficult battle.
For our CEO, Caron Harris, and Elaine and John Harris, the day held a particularly special meaning as they remembered their beloved mother, Jessica, who founded the business that would become part of the FATS family legacy. Having her photograph in the office was a beautiful reminder of a much-loved mother, a lasting legacy, and the family roots on which the business was built. Her memory remains part of their story, and part of the FATS story. 💗
Our thoughts are also with Ehren, John's son, who is part of the FATS family and has faced his own journey with cancer. At such a young age, his experience is a reminder that cancer can touch lives at any stage. We send Ehren our love, strength and heartfelt wishes as he continues forward on his journey. 💗🎗️
Our thoughts were also with Nadine, whose brother is currently in hospital receiving treatment for cancer. We send her and her family our heartfelt support and strength during this difficult time.
Cancer touches so many lives, often in ways that go far beyond what we see. Days like these remind us of the importance of early detection, awareness, compassion, and simply being there for one another. Sometimes, the greatest gift we can offer is a little kindness, a listening ear, or a reminder that no one should have to face the journey alone.
And of course, no special day at FATS would be complete without a little four-legged support! 🐾💗 Jerry, Caron's much-loved companion, proudly joined the Cancer Awareness Day wearing his pink scarf. He even took up his position at the front door, keeping a watchful eye on everyone coming in and out. Our very own little pink-scarfed guardian! 🐶🎀
Today was a reminder that behind every awareness ribbon is a person, a family, a story, and a reason to care.
We remember those we have lost, stand beside those who are fighting, and hold on to hope for those still on the journey.
From all of us at FATS, let us continue to spread awareness, show compassion, and support one another — today and every day.
