Innovation doesn’t always begin with a blank sheet of paper.

Sometimes it begins with asking a simple question…

What else could this become?

At Stanton Global, we looked at post-consumer recycled polypropylene—the plastic from everyday items like yoghurt tubs, ice cream containers and food packaging—and saw an opportunity to create something far more valuable.
The result was the Safeload Shesha Box.

Designed in South Africa for South African conditions, the Shesha Box is a heavy-duty, lockable 150-litre delivery box that rides thousands of kilometres every day on the back of motorcycles, safely transporting groceries, meals, medicine and parcels to homes and businesses across the country.

But this isn’t just another delivery box.
It’s manufactured using 99% post-consumer recycled polypropylene, proving that recycled plastic isn’t limited to low-value products. With the right engineering, material formulation and design, it can become a durable, long-life commercial product that performs in one of the toughest environments imaginable—South Africa’s busy roads.

Every Shesha Box contains approximately 8.3 kg of recycled polypropylene. Over the past 12 months, more than 4,300 units have been manufactured, giving approximately 36 tonnes of recycled plastic a valuable second life while supporting local recycling, local manufacturing and South African innovation.
Last week, we were incredibly proud when the Shesha Box was recognised with a Silver Award in the House & Leisurecategory at the SAPRO Awards 2026.

As first-time entrants, we entered just one product. We genuinely didn’t know what to expect. To receive national recognition for a product that embodies our passion for innovation, sustainability and practical design was both humbling and incredibly rewarding.

This award also celebrates the power of partnership.
A huge thank you to PIMMS Group, who manufactures every Shesha Box to the highest quality standards, and Reproplast, whose recycled polypropylene makes the product possible. Together, we’ve shown what can happen when great design, manufacturing excellence and responsible recycling come together.

The Shesha Box isn’t simply made from recycled plastic.

What a great way to kick off Women’s Month!

This morning, our PIMMS Group and Stanton Global teams came together for our monthly Huddle, with a special Women’s Month theme celebrating and showcasing the incredible women of PIMMS.

We also got a first look at some exciting new products currently being developed by the Stanton team and shared a few big updates on what is ahead for the Group.

One of the biggest is Project Apex, our exciting move to a bigger premises in October and an important next chapter in our growth.

We recently welcomed Stuart to PIMMS Group and Stanton Global for an internship experience, giving him the opportunity to explore the many different stages involved in bringing products to life.

Stuart spent time with the Stanton Global Design and Product Development Team, learning more about how ideas are developed into practical product solutions. He also gained valuable exposure to the PIMMS Group manufacturing environment, including visits to our Toolroom and Assembly Department, as well as time with our Commercial Director.

At PIMMS Group and Stanton Global, we are proud to share our knowledge, inspire young minds and give the next generation valuable insight into the exciting worlds of design, product development and manufacturing.

This Mandela Day, our Stanton Global and PIMMS Group teams joined the Laser Park Business Association to help plant greenery for a new community park in Laser Park. 🌱

Made possible through generous donations from local businesses, the park is being developed as a welcoming space where employees from the surrounding business community can relax, connect and enjoy a brighter, greener environment.

We were proud to roll up our sleeves and contribute to a project that will benefit the entire Laser Park community. Together, small actions can create lasting change. 💚
