Another tailored energy solution delivered. ⚡

A 500 kW/1,205 kWh battery energy storage system has arrived at Crest Choice Chickens to support more reliable and cost-effective operations.

In a high-demand food production environment, power interruptions can directly affect product quality, productivity and output. This solution has been designed around the specific operational needs of the site.

We’ll be sharing more as the project progresses.

A successful energy project starts with a strong foundation.

Civil works are now complete at our Corobrik Kwastina site near Potchefstroom, including the construction of equipment plinths for these 10 x 125kW/261kWh Energy Cubes. Rounding off this 2.61 MWh energy arbitrage project.

With the groundwork in place, the site is ready for the next phase of installation.

We recently installed a Hubble Energy Cube at JT Ross Park: Plumbago 1 in Kempton Park, Johannesburg, with one clear goal: to reduce energy costs through energy arbitrage.

The system charges during off-peak hours, when electricity tariffs are lower, and supplies stored energy during peak periods, when grid electricity is at its most expensive.

For a high-consumption facility operating on Ekurhuleni tariffs, this creates significant, measurable savings that continue month after month.

Hybrid PV system with back up at Rattray’s on MalaMala ⚡️

An intimate, ultra-luxury safari experience within the renowned MalaMala Game Reserve, Rattray’s offers guests privacy, comfort, and a deep connection to nature, all powered sustainably by Hubble Energy.

To support uninterrupted operations in its remote Sabi Sand location, Sunspec Solar installed a robust hybrid system featuring:
4 x HV512 battery clusters (204kWh)
340 x 550W solar panels
1 x ATESS HPS150 inverter

Hubble’s HV512 1C, 100Ah batteries feature built-in Cloudlink for real-time remote monitoring and a modular, scalable design, allowing the system to grow with the lodge’s energy needs. Fully generator integrated and PLC controlled, the system delivers intelligent, reliable power management that keeps operations seamless and consistent.

With Hubble’s on-site commissioning, technical support, and Cloudlink connectivity, Rattray’s continues to operate efficiently and sustainably ensuring every guest experience remains uninterrupted and aligned with conservation goals.
