The wines of Zevenwacht are distinguished by their classic style and finely crafted elegance. Winemaker Jacques Viljoen honours century-old wine-making traditions, yet is boldly innovative, welcoming the contribution that modern technology makes to the vinification of premier wines. Covering 120 hectares of the 450 hectare property, the vineyards are ideally situated for the growing of quality grapes. Zevenwacht is characterized by good quality, varied soils and the vineyards have been selectively planted with red and white noble varietals.

Vibrant and full of energy, our Z Collection Chardonnay 2025 celebrates an exciting new beginning with its maiden vintage. 🙌 Carefully chosen maturation vessels preserve the purity of the vineyard, allowing its unique character to shine through.

It’s already made its mark, earning 94 points at the 2026 W**emag.co.za PFS Series Top 10 Awards and 93 points in the Tim Atkin South Africa Special Report 2026!

Zevenwacht Z-Collection Chardonnay offers green apple, stone fruit, almond and flint, with vibrant acidity and a long, clean mineral finish.

We’re incredibly proud to celebrate outstanding results at the Prescient Fund Services (PFS) Spring Series 2026 Awards!

Taking 2nd place, our Estate Chardonnay 2025 (95 points) was followed closely by the Z Collection Chardonnay 2025 (94 points) in 3rd place. Adding to the celebration, our Z Collection Cabernet Sauvignon 2024 scored 93 points.👏

A fantastic achievement for our team, reflecting the passion and dedication that go into every bottle.
