Big Bay parkrun – Saturday 25 July
Winter is treating us kindly this weekend! We’re expecting pleasant winter conditions and, best of all, great low tide conditions for tomorrow’s event. It’s shaping up to be a beautiful morning to enjoy a walk, jog, run or volunteer with our amazing Big Bay parkrun community.
A few friendly reminders before you head down to the beach:
* Our event starts promptly at 08:00. Please arrive a little earlier to allow time for parking and to make your way to the start
*Listen carefully to the pre-event briefing for any important course and safety announcements.
*Please take extra care when walking down the ramp onto the beach, especially if it is damp or slippery.
* Dress appropriately for the winter weather – layers are always a good idea.
* Be mindful of other beach users and fellow participants throughout the event.
* Remember to bring your barcode (physical or digital) if you’d like to receive your result.
* If you’re driving, please allow extra time for parking around Eden on the Bay and consider using the nearby overflow parking areas if needed.
