When we started in 1997, this was the height of AI and automation. 📎 In 2026, we're still helping South Australian businesses adopt the latest technology to grow. And helping them modernise workflows that should have retired with Clippy.

If you're a business owner, CEO, operations manager or IT manager, how confident are you that your Microsoft 365 environment, cyber security controls and staff are prepared for today's threats?

Many South Australian businesses have cyber security tools in place but still have gaps around phishing protection, multi-factor authentication, compliance, business continuity and incident response.

Commuserv helps organisations identify risks, strengthen security and build a structured cyber security roadmap aligned to recognised frameworks, including Essential Eight principles.

South Australian businesses should treat the AI Royal Commission as a strong signal to prepare now.

State and Federal governments are paying closer attention to how organisations adopt, govern and manage AI. Businesses that start building the right foundations now will have more time to strengthen governance, improve adoption and capture value from AI before expectations become more defined.

Commuserv helps South Australian organisations build those foundations while identifying where AI can create real value, from reducing manual work and improving access to information to supporting better decisions and greater capacity for growth.

If your organisation is already using AI, or expects to, the article in the comments explains what to prepare for and where to start.

Imagine never having to explain your business to another technology provider again.

People like Alexander are part of Commuserv's 30-strong Adelaide team of technology specialists. We take the time to understand how your organisation works, what your team is trying to achieve and where you want the business to go.

That's why the same team that supports your staff, manages Microsoft 365, strengthens cyber security and keeps your systems running can also identify opportunities to reduce manual work, streamline processes and apply AI and automation where it will have the greatest impact.

Whether you're onboarding new staff, opening a new office, improving security or looking for ways to create more capacity across the business, you're working with a team that already understands the bigger picture.

And that's the real benefit of having one team that understands every part of your technology and every part of your business.

Insurance brokers don't just protect their clients' risks, they carry the responsibility of protecting their clients' most sensitive information every day.

From claims and renewals to insurer portals, Microsoft 365 and client records, technology sits behind almost every interaction your brokerage has with its clients. When it works well, business keeps moving. When it doesn't, the impact is felt quickly.

That's why we help insurance brokers strengthen cyber security, support their teams, reduce administration and keep critical systems running smoothly with managed IT, cyber security and AI solutions designed around the way brokerages operate.

When the stakes are high, it matters who is standing behind you.

Paul is a Solutions Engineer at Commuserv. The challenges our customers face are rarely solved by a single person, so they can draw on the IT knowledge and cyber security experience of nearly 30 people working towards the right outcome.

It is how we have helped South Australian organisations navigate technology with confidence for 29 years.

If your professional services firm cannot clearly say who can access client files, that is not an admin issue. It is a business risk. It often starts with something routine...

A staff member leaves, their account is disabled, and everyone assumes access has been dealt with.

But client information may still be sitting in shared folders, Teams channels, email threads or Microsoft 365 locations that have not been properly reviewed.

Most of the time, nothing obvious happens. Work keeps moving, clients are served, and the risk stays invisible.

Then someone asks a simple question: who can still see this file?

That is when access becomes a leadership issue. For firms built on confidential advice and client trust, it is not enough to assume information is protected. You need to know who has access, why they have it, and whether that access is still appropriate.

The problem is better found in a review than during a client question, insurer request or security incident.
