We'd like to congratulate Steve Flamsteed, pictured next to Leeanne, for being awarded the 2027 Halliday W**emaker of the Year. Yarra-Valley based, but born and bred in Toowoomba, Steve is a talented, deeply respected w**emaker, who also mentors and champions young w**emakers. Steve’s first w**emaking job was on the Granite Belt and that was where his passion for w**emaking began! Queenslander!

We also applaud Ashley Ratcliff, standing next to Robyn, who won 2027 Halliday Viticulturist of the Year, a nod to his innovative approach and experimentation with climate-adaptive varietals such as Fiano, nero d’Avola, montepulciano, vermentino, tinta cão and tinta barocca in the Riverland at Ricca Terra.
