During National Reconciliation Week, we acknowledge the histories, cultures, knowledge, and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
It is a time to listen and learn with humility, reflect on the past, and strengthen our commitment to respect, understanding, and meaningful change.
In aged care, meaningful support begins with respect, understanding, and cultural safety. Every person deserves to feel seen, valued, and connected to their identity and community as they age.
This week is an opportunity to reflect on how we can continue creating safer, more compassionate spaces, not only for physical care, but for emotional well-being and mental health too.
Real change begins with listening, learning, and walking forward together 🤝
