These resources support Australia's low-carbon transition and are contributing to a multi-billion-dollar mining boom driven by critical minerals. With this boom comes thousands of jobs and for these reasons Mining and Energy are among the industries we often support with project-ready teams.

If you want to work in the sector then a trade background or experience in construction (civil or residential) can help, but itโ€™s not a prerequisite. Mine sites run on compliance. Every person on site needs specific tickets just to be there legally, and every task beyond basic labouring requires additional qualifications on top of that.

> Standard 11 mining induction
> Working at Heights
> Confined Spaces
> Atmospheric monitoring (goes with confined spaces)
> First Aid and CPR.

As the construction industry continues to build (see what we did there) in Northern Queensland, it's hardly surprising that this is an Industry we regularly support.

Both levels of Government getting behind policies that drive new housing builds, new people continuing to move to the area from elsewhere in Australia and strong infrastructure and commercial development all combine to ensure construction growth is not slowing any time soon. For this reason there are always opportunities for labour hire solutions in the construction Industry.

For those wanting to work in the industry there are two main categories we recruit for.
๐Ÿญ. Labourers are always needed on sites for lifting, carrying and cleaning, so as long as you have the correct PPE, a White Card and are ready and willing to work, then you could step into a new role tomorrow.

๐Ÿฎ. If you have tickets in electrical, carpentry, concreting, plumbing, steel fixing or others, then you are incredibly employable in construction. Near record-low unemployment rates continue to make skilled trades scarce and upcoming major infrastructure projects throughout Queensland increase the demand for these skills even more.
