A Small Price Rise, Courtesy of Big Inflation
Dear Valued Clients, we’d like to announce a small price increase.
As you already understand, given the tumultuous nature of business in the 21st Century, we, like you, are simply trying to keep up with the impressive performance of inflation, which appears to be training for an Olympic sprint; and a Government that’s determined to build the character of each and every SME on the Continent!
We firmly believe in fair wages and supporting our hardworking team (we’re quite fond of them), but the combined effect of rising wages, operating costs, and an ever-growing list of expenses and global economic choices, we don't remember signing up for, has left us with three options:
1. Raise prices
2. Pretend maths is optional, for the 50th time
3. Start accepting payment in compliments, good vibes and other people's opinions

While options 2 & 3 was briefly appealing, our accountant staged a very compelling intervention, and after recovering from laughter, he suggested a price increase would be more beneficial to company continuity and more rewarding than a s**g with Kylie Minogue.
The upside is that we'll continue delivering the same service and quality you expect, without resorting to drastic measures such as replacing our team with cardboard cut-outs or training Charlie the wonder dog to answer emails!

Thank you for your understanding and continued support as we navigate this exciting economic experiment together, and this era of everything costs a bit more than it did five minutes ago....

On a serious note:
* In 16 years of operation, we have only had 3 price rises and nowhere near the inflation rate
* We will continue to provide you with the most efficient and practical methods of carrying out your work like sharing travel costs with other clients and multiple technicians on your job
* Cost saving strategies could include removing any unused equipment and letting our tech team know items you are no longer using
* Getting in touch to enquire if your service satisfies AS/NZS 3760:2022, and if we have any other ideas how to reduce your compliance costs
