BIG WALK FOR LITTLE KIDS 🚶‍♀️🏃‍♀️

We’re back and pumped up more than ever! The OH NINE crew is lacing up those runners yet again and hitting the pavement for ‘s Big Walk for Little Kids. But we’re not just strolling around the block — this year, we’re going BIGGER. We’ve set ourselves a whopping goal of raising $14,000! Since we started the Big Walk For Little Kids 3 years ago, the OH NINE team has raised over $19,000 to support young kids and families affected by Cancer. Camp Quality provides kids and families facing cancer with fun experiences, trusted information, specialised care, coping tools and a supportive community, through fun camps, getaways and recreational fun days and experiences. So we want to help us raise funds so Camp Quality can continue to support kids facing cancer and their families.

We’re walking towards a collective goal of 500kms! So get behind us and support our little team as we walk towards a great cause.

We’ve been sharing tips to help you prep for EOFY, but ever wonder what this time of year looks like for us at OH NINE?

It’s probably no surprise that EOFY is our busiest time of year, but why exactly? What do we need to get up to once June 30 rolls around?
Helping our clients with their year-end bookkeeping involves a checklist that looks a little something like this:
💰 Q4 Payroll
💵 Full Year Payroll Reconciliation
🍫 Stress Eat
📈 EOY (End of Year) STP Finalisation Due by July 15
🧾 Ensure June (and all other months) are fully reconciled

💸 Prepare the file for the accountant

End to end, it takes us around 8 hours to do this for an average-sized client. Multiply that by the number of clients we have, and you can see why we’re always hustling come June 30, on top of our normal day-to-day work.

But you know what? We fricken LOVE IT. 🤙🏼

EOFY Tip #1: Chase Up Outstanding Invoices and Ensure All Work is Invoiced.
Cash flow is the lifeblood of any business, and outstanding invoices can be a significant roadblock. EOFY is the perfect time to ensure you've chased up all outstanding invoices and sent out invoices for any work completed.

Why Now?
As the financial year comes to a close, it’s essential to get your accounts in order ahead of the 30th of June. Chasing up unpaid invoices ensures you’re not leaving money on the table. Plus, having all your invoices up-to-date will provide a clearer picture of your business’s financial health, which is vital for accurate reporting and planning for the next financial year.
