Celebrating Caitlin’s 5-year anniversary with WEM šŸŽ‰

"Five years at WEM is tough to summarise. Thanks to the eclectic mix of people, it’s been a blur of steep learning curves, genuine laughs, and more Excel sheets than I care to admit. I started here thinking I’d just be emailing documents daily; I’m ending these first five years having found a career path I didn’t even know was possible. The evolution from being a Junior to a Senior Manager has been a climb, and I’ve loved every chaotic bit of it."

From Junior to Senior Manager, what an incredible journey.

Thank you for everything you bring to the team, Caitlin!

From storms and flooding to extreme heat, conditions can change quickly. Being prepared helps teams respond safely when it matters most.

Taking time to review procedures and responsibilities now can support clearer, more coordinated responses during an emergency.

Today marks World Day for Safety and Health at Work.

This year’s theme highlights the importance of recognising and managing psychosocial hazards in the workplace, acknowledging that health and safety isn’t only about physical risks, but also how work is designed, organised and managed.

It’s an important reminder that creating safer workplaces means addressing both physical and psychosocial risks.
