Celebrating Brad's 8-year anniversary with WEM! 🤝🎊

Since joining WEM in 2018 as an Emergency Response Training Consultant, Brad has supported clients across training, developing evacuation diagrams and emergency management planning.

"I was able to bring a wealth of experience and knowledge from my previous employment in the NSW Police Force as well as more recent volunteer work with the NSW Rural Fire Service and as a Clinical Volunteer with Ambulance New South Wales into my role with WEM.

As the business has grown and developed, so have I, as I became the HR/WHS Manager for the company along with maintaining an active role with training and consulting.

The variety of work, many clients and people I have met across a range of work industries and being able to travel across the country has made the job enjoyable and rewarding. Being able to do all this has been made possible in no small way by the people I work with across the WEM business."

Thank you Brad for everything you bring to our WEM team.

A simple question can quickly show how prepared your team really is.

If a severe storm warning was issued in the next hour — what would your team do first?

Quick, informal discussions like this help reinforce procedures and keep emergency response top of mind.

Celebrating Caitlin’s 5-year anniversary with WEM 🎉

"Five years at WEM is tough to summarise. Thanks to the eclectic mix of people, it’s been a blur of steep learning curves, genuine laughs, and more Excel sheets than I care to admit. I started here thinking I’d just be emailing documents daily; I’m ending these first five years having found a career path I didn’t even know was possible. The evolution from being a Junior to a Senior Manager has been a climb, and I’ve loved every chaotic bit of it."

From Junior to Senior Manager, what an incredible journey.

Thank you for everything you bring to the team, Caitlin!
