Hi peeps! 🖤
I’m celebrating my final training gig for 2026 in Hobart, Tasmania! What a way to wrap up another big year on the road. 🖤
This week, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside some amazing social workers who are passionate about working with families to achieve better and safer outcomes for children.
Together, we explored how to lean into the Safe and Together Model and Framework, building the capacity of practitioners to keep children’s safety, healing from trauma, stability and nurturance at the centre of their work with families impacted by perpetrator patterned behaviours.
It’s about keeping the focus where it belongs — on the children’s lived experiences, the impact of the perpetrator’s behaviours, and the strengths and protective actions of the non-offending parent.
A big thank you to all the Tassie peeps for your passion, commitment and the important work you do with families every day. It’s always inspiring to connect with practitioners who are committed to making a difference.
Tassie, I’ll be back! 🖤✈️

Hi peeps! 🥰
I was so privileged to be the Karaoke Queen 🎤 and Keynote speaker at the AHCWA Social and Emotional Wellbeing Conference today!
It was extra special to spend time with my WA peeps. ❤️ After being on the road and travelling around Australia, it felt so good to be back on home Country, reconnecting with familiar faces and celebrating the incredible work happening right across Western Australia.
There was lots of learning, lots of laughs, plenty of fun and, of course, a little karaoke! 😂🎤
I’m feeling very grateful to have been part of such a deadly day and to celebrate the amazing people doing such important work to strengthen Social and Emotional Wellbeing across our communities.

Hi peeps ❤️

I’m feeling very full after spending this week in Lismore with some truly amazing people and practitioners who are working hard to promote better outcomes for families experiencing family, domestic and sexual violence.

Over four days of Safe and Together CORE training, we yarned, learned, challenged our thinking and explored practical ways to strengthen FDSV practice through a First Nations lens.

Practitioners walked away feeling better equipped with practical tools and a framework to:

🌿 improve safety for children and strengthen family functioning
🌿 keep perpetrators of harm visible and accountable
🌿 recognise and identify the strengths, protective efforts and resilience of survivors
🌿 bring a perpetrator pattern-based approach into everyday practice.

It was such a privilege to spend time with practitioners who are committed to doing this work differently and creating better outcomes for children and families.

Thank you Lismore for welcoming this Little Boomerang. 🥰

I’ve been in lockdown mode since attending the annual Writers Festival in Byron Bay — and by lockdown, I mean writing, writing and more writing! ✍🏽📖
The festival really lit a fire in my belly, and I’ve been busy putting pen to paper and capturing some of the stories, experiences and reflections from my journey so far.
