Camper No. 7 – Back to the West Coast!

We're heading back to what is possibly one of the most remote and wild places in Australia – the West Coast of Tasmania, with our base in Strahan.

The five-hour drive from Hobart is simply breathtaking. Rugged mountains, ancient rainforests and scenery that feels almost prehistoric. It's raw, untamed, and truly one of those places that reminds you just how special Tasmania is. A genuine must-visit.

Day 1: Roof section preparation.

Everything went to plan today. The roof section is prepped and ready, with a productive start to Camper No. 7. Plenty more to come over the next few days as another build takes shape in one of Australia's most spectacular locations.

The kitchen cabinets will be made from V-Lite.
Current expenditure is approximately $25,000, excluding the canvas, legs, and a few odds and ends. Realistically, let's call it $32,000 all up.

This includes:
-800W of solar
-600Ah LiFePO₄ battery bank
-Renogy equipment throughout
-Induction cooking
-Air-conditioning unit
-Electric hot water system
-Doors, hatches, and windows
