Fine Art Print Workshop
at Full Gamut September 27

In partnership with Spicers Australia and Hahnemühle, Full Gamut will be hosting a 1/2 day printing workshop exclusively using Hahnemühle digital fine art papers and our Epson archival pigment ink printers. Bring along a print ready file and have it printed on one of the supplied papers from this iconic paper maker. The session will include:
Printer models and ink types
Colour settings, printer and monitor colour management
Paper types and selection
File preparation for print
Printing through Photoshop
Printing through a Raster Image Processor - Mirage
This is a half day workshop, 10am -2pm

SLIGHTLY AWKWARD: AN AUTISTIC RESPONSE TO SOCIETY | KAT SCARLET | SEPTEMBER 11 - 19 | SIDESPACE GALLERY

Opening Night: Friday 11 September | 5:30pm – 7:30pm

Presented as visual narrative through the use of acrylic painting, textiles and installation pieces, this exhibition maps the artist’s journey of late diagnosis, autistic burnout and identity redevelopment in a deeply personal and vulnerable way.

Known for her artistic practice and her contribution to community arts, Southern Tasmanian artist Kat Scarlet has a distinctive style of hyper-colour, rich detail, pattern and perspective.

This immersive exhibition invites audiences to take a retrospective journey through Kat’s years of diagnosis and burnout, using her art as story telling. Showcasing her newer textile works which embrace bold textile form, sequins, humour and unapologetic q***r expression alongside her well known landscapes.

More than an exhibition, Slightly Awkward : An Autistic Response to Society creates a space for audiences to consider questions around identity, difference, ableism, belonging and the often invisible ways people navigate the world.

Full Gamut Printing Price Rise - September 2026

After holding our print pricing unchaged for 4 years, we will be
putting in place a price rise of 5% across our printing and
services section of the business. While our supply and
administrative cost have risen steadily over that time, we have
been able to absorb these until now.

The price changes will come into effect on September 1.

This printing price rise will apply to paper, canvas, metal,
posters, plans, wall graphics & art reproduction / retouching
services.

Take the oportunity to beat the price rise by stocking up on
prints or choosing your favorite image to have printed on our
wide range of papers

Tasmania's premier prize for early-career artists returns. $40,000 across Painting and Mixed Media, with $20,000 awarded to each category winner.

I have just popped in & have never seen this space at The Long Gallery, look so incredible. Its such a beautiful space but tonight its going to be next level for Book Launch Of Dark Seas. Brave the cold for this one tonight Hobart, it will be well worth it. All the best Nick, you have worked so incredibly hard and its been so inspiring to watch the journey unfold.
