Thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday for the AfMA Tasmania Connect event in Hobart.

It was wonderful to see the Tasmanian fleet community come together to connect, share ideas and strengthen the relationships that make our industry stronger.

A special thank you to our Tasmanian Committee, Nick Stowe, Paul McShane, Luke Mitchell and Lia-Jane Whelan for their dedication and hard work in bringing this event to life. Your efforts behind the scenes are genuinely appreciated.

The strength of AfMA has always been its people, and events like these remind us of the value of coming together as an industry.

We look forward to continuing the conversation at our Professional Development Forums in Hobart on 27 October and Launceston on 28 October. If you know a fleet professional who would benefit from attending, we encourage you to invite them along.

Last month at the Australasian Fleet Education & Leadership Summit, AfMA was proud to announce Theresa Labuschagne from KiwiRail as the inaugural recipient of the Women in Fleet Management Award.

This award recognises women who champion and support other women in the fleet and automotive industry while making a significant contribution through leadership, innovation and industry engagement.

While Theresa was unable to attend the Summit in person, we were delighted to see the award recently presented to her in New Zealand. A special thank you to Caroline Perry from Brake for personally delivering the award.

Congratulations, Theresa on this well-deserved recognition and thank you for the positive impact you continue to make across our industry.
