It was great to see such a strong turnout at yesterday's AfMA ACT Professional Development Forum in Canberra.

The event brought together fleet professionals from across the ACT for an engaging afternoon of learning, discussion and networking.

John Ryan, Director Policy at ANCAP Safety, shared valuable insights into ANCAP in 2026 and the future of vehicle safety, highlighting the growing importance of advanced safety technologies and what fleet managers should consider when selecting vehicles for their fleets.

Michael Green, Senior Product Manager – 4x4 & Load Carrying at Pedders Suspension & Brakes, delivered a practical and informative session on vehicle load weight, covering key considerations around payload management, compliance and ensuring vehicles remain safe and fit for purpose.

A big thank you to John Ryan and Michael Green for sharing their expertise and helping attendees better understand these important fleet management topics.

We would also like to thank FleetGuru for sponsoring the event and supporting AfMA's ongoing professional development program.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to the discussions. It was great to connect with so many fleet professionals, and we look forward to seeing you at the next AfMA event.
