Today we’re celebrating one of our own.

Charlie has been part of the Moreton Bay Recycling team for over four years, and if you’ve been on site, chances are you’ve seen him up on the hill in the digger, getting the job done like clockwork.

He’s not just a great operator, though. Charlie is always up for a chat, a laugh, and keeping the day moving with a bit of good energy.

Because at the end of the day, yes, we’re employees… but we’re people first. And it’s the people that make this place what it is.

That’s our job.

Take construction and demolition waste and turn it into usable product again.

Not much has changed on that front. We still accept clean concrete and process it into recycled road bases, aggregates, and fills for local jobs.

From the moment it’s dropped off, the process gets to work:

Concrete is fed into the crusher, where it’s broken down into smaller, reusable material.

As it moves along the conveyor belts, powerful magnets pull out the steel reinforcement, separating it cleanly for recycling.

What’s left continues through the system, sorted and processed into high-quality recycled products like road base, aggregates and crusher dust ready to go back out to site.
