From there, the material is transported to our Moreton Bay Recycling facility, where it’s processed and reintroduced into the resource stream. The JUMBO & Moreton Bay Recycling teams swapped steel caps for dance steps today and attempted a few rounds of cha cha to support an incredible young local, Molly Pascoe. At just 14, Molly has been selected to represent Australia at the World DanceSport Federation’s annual festival in Blackpool, England, one of the most prestigious ballroom dancing competitions in the world. Only six dancers from Australia are attending. Kokoda Challenge Pinnacle: Mission Accomplished!

🥾 What a journey! #Jumbo, ResourceCo, and Moreton Bay Recycling are beyond proud to announce that the “3 Big Units” team officially completed the final leg of the 176km #KokodaChallengePinnacle on Sunday, 19 July. They conquered the 96km Gold Coast section in a staggering 31 hours and 40 minutes. 💪 To put that into perspective: - 753 participants started the challenge - 174 didn’t finish - That’s a 23% DNF rate... It’s a brutal track, and even with months of training under their belts, many couldn’t make it. But Peter, Jamie, and Marz powered through to the finish! We put together a short video as a tribute to their effort, and to the incredible support crew who’ve backed them for the past 7 months. On the day, the crew lifted spirits and recharged the team at every stop. Peter said it best: they simply couldn’t have done it without them. Together, they’ve raised more than $11,600 for the Kokoda Youth Foundation, and the donation link stays open until November (check the comments!) Peter and Team, we hope you all get some well earned rest now. Former The Block contestants, and self-confessed serial renovators Leah and Ash and their team were very impressed with Ethan's driving and handling skills, delivering a 15m #hookbin in such a tight spot last month. Jumbo supplied multiple bins to support this home renovation project alongside Reno Revivals, for Malia and her family. Malia is bravely facing brain cancer, and she and her husband Mihajlo dreamed of finishing their renovation to give their young family a beautiful home.
