“Working within the global drilling industry and living overseas for almost two decades has provided an interesting perspective on how other countries perceive Australia’s commitment to the evolution of its mineral exploration industry through government-supported research and development initiatives. The global mineral exploration drilling sector is evolving, and we will soon witness a dramatic shift in the way we drill.
Australasia has yielded some of the greatest innovations in mineral exploration drilling, including rod handling, rod spinners, machine learning and capturing real-time data during my almost 40-year career. The international industry is watching, visiting, learning as quickly as possible and seeking to do the same.”
