We are very excited to introduce 3 new Whiskies onto the bar 🥃🥃 1 being our very first Triple Distilled and our first Pinot Cask !!
Ten Fingers is a very special release as it was born out of education !
Alchymia Distillery are a module in Smithton High School Applied Science Class we welcomed our first class of 12 students and 3 teachers to the distillery in 2023 where we did a lesson on fermentation & distillation we mashed in that morning so we had the sugary wort in the mash tun (& no there is no alcohol at this stage just barley & water) and we had a ferment going from the day before then MPH distilled some tea (again no alcohol) to help the students understand the process that they had been studying in their Applied Science class. The students were all invited to dip their finger in the sugary wort to taste how much sugar had been extracted from the barley simply by adding hot water…..only 10 students tried it hence ‘Ten Fingers release’ was born with passion and education at its heart.

Make Your Own Gin - Join MPH to select your botanicals and leave on the day with a bottle of your creation with your recipe then held on file if you want to order more in the future- Great Gift !!

Premium Whisky Tastings - matching 3 of our Single Malt Single Cask Whiskies with small bites of local produce!

The Gin Station- spend some time in the distillery with MPH while tasting 3 of our Gins get to understand how we make our 'one shot' Gin here on site!

Gin & High T- a lady or tradie version a great treat on a winters day eating locally produced, scones, quiches or sausage rolls and vanilla slices with sandwiches and Gin & T or Beer!!

And of course our 'Halo' Whisky experience is the 'Alchemist Academy Private Cask Experience' where we offer you the opportunity to do more than just purchase a private cask......... Instead we invite you to the distillery to get hands experience making your own new make spirit from scratch and understanding the entire process including all the ATO paperwork 🥹!!

Here at Alchymia Distillery our 'Alchemist Academy Private Cask Experience' is continuing to be an amazing experience for our Alchemists, from making their new make spirit with us, doing their regular tastings just brings a smile to all of our faces!

We knew when we designed this experience whisky lovers would enjoy it but honestly we had no idea how much and how much people would appreciate the time, precision and passion that we put into our Single Malt Single Cask Whisky from start to finish.

Introducing me! SPH, I'm the other half of our team of 2 here at Alchymia Distillery, Co-Founder & Co-owner, assistant distiller, chief taster, head of sales & marketing, head of procurement, accountant, story teller, barmaid, assistant farmer & fencer, gardener & the face that visitors see when they enter the Tasting Room!

Running a small business is certainly a challenge, but when it is something that you are truly passionate about and you are able to share with every visitor that walks through the door & do it with someone like MPH it is all worth it !

Thank you to everyone who has visited so far and we look forward to welcoming those who haven't yet but will in the future!

Meet MPH Co-Founder and Co-owner of Alchymia Distillery!

We are a team of 2 here so this guy has many 'hats' in the business, Head Distiller, tutor, alchemist, maintenance guy, distillery cleaner, he'll often say "no one ever told me being a distiller involved so much cleaning" !!🤣🤣Head chef, fixer, farmer, fencer, charmer & passionate about everything we do here, always ready with a quip, a smile and a belly laugh.

Thanks MPH your passion, it makes being a small business Co-owner, which lets face it is such hard work & full on, enjoyable and fun and our visitors see it, feel it and love it!!
