🚜 On the hunt for quality gravel in the Top End!

Last month, our Darwin team was out around the Dundee area carrying out a gravel investigation for upcoming road upgrade works. From site inspections to material testing, the crew has been busy helping identify suitable gravel sources to support durable and reliable road infrastructure.

Great to see the team getting it done in the field, with a little help from some heavy machinery along the way! 👷🛻

What an amazing way to finish the HiQA Group Conference 2026 🎉🙌

Day 4 was all things technical 🔧📊 and what a great way to wrap up an incredible few days together.

The day kicked off with Thomas Noone from TPN Engineering Consultants speaking about Pavement Designs and why results matter 🚧👏 What an insightful session. Thank you for taking the time to share your knowledge and experience with the team.

The day continued with the HiQA Quiz 🧠 along with more technical sessions delivered by our Operations and Support teams, providing valuable insights and sharing expertise from across the business 💡

To finish off the conference, the team attended the incredible Darwin Star Ball ✨🖤 It was a fantastic night where everyone had the opportunity to unwind, celebrate, dance the night away 💃🕺, and help raise money for the Starlight Children’s Foundation ⭐💛

The 2026 HiQA Group Conference was truly a success and an event to remember 👏

Day 3 of the HiQA Group Conference 2026 was another fantastic day 🙌🔥

Today the team spent the day with the amazing Sarah Valentine✨ who has been working with HiQA for more than 11 years.

Throughout the day, team members were split into groups to take part in role play scenarios, brainstorm ideas, and work through the Leadership Framework 💡🤝

It was an incredibly insightful day where the team learned new skills, shared ideas, and developed plans they can now take back and execute within their teams 🚀

The day wrapped up with a networking catch-up and some Musical Bingo at Flynns 🎶🍻 There were plenty of laughs, great conversations, and a little healthy competition along the way 😄

A big thank you to Sarah for delivering another amazing session 👏💙

The team have now completed 3 action-packed days together, and we’re excited for the final day of the HiQA Conference 2026 🎉

Day 2 of the HiQA Group Conference 2026 did not disappoint 🙌🔥

Today the team had the opportunity to spend the day with sales expert Ingrid Maynard ✨ Through interactive activities, collaboration, and insightful sessions, the team learned valuable skills while having plenty of fun along the way 💡👏

It was an awesome day filled with learning, teamwork, and plenty of laughs.

As the sun went down, the team headed to The Landmark for a networking catch-up followed by a quiz night 🧠🍻 Go Team HiQA!

With team members travelling in from all over Australia, it was also the perfect opportunity to celebrate the winners of the HiQA Steps Challenge that was held back in March 👟🏆

A big congratulations to:

Day 1 of the HiQA Group Conference 2026 has officially kicked off 🎉 and if the rest of the conference is anything like today, we are in for an amazing few days ahead! 🙌

Team members travelled to Darwin from all over Australia ✈️🇦🇺, bringing together people from across the HiQA Group for a few days of connection, learning, and fun.

A small group had the honour of being invited to the ⭐ Starlight Children's Foundation Australia Starlight Room at Royal Darwin Hospital ⭐ where we got to see where the magic happens and learn about the incredible work the Starlight Captains do every day 💛

We heard some truly heartwarming stories, got involved in arts and crafts 🎨, and experienced such a meaningful way to begin the conference. We’re already looking forward to seeing the Starlight Captains again on Friday night at the Darwin Star Ball✨

Back at the conference, the wider team joined together as Luke officially opened the 2026 HiQA Conference. Team members from HiQA Geotechnical, HiQA WA, HiQA Projects, HiQA RAM, and the Support Team came together to hear about HiQA’s journey, mission, and vision 🚀

This year’s conference theme:
🌱 “Driving Sustainable Growth with People at the Core” 🌱

The afternoon was all about teamwork and connection with the HiQA Amazing Race 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ Teams were mixed across the business and challenged with a variety of fun activities throughout the afternoon.

It was fantastic to see team members who had never met face-to-face before working together, laughing together, and building new connections 🤝

And to top it all off, we even got to celebrate Jimmy’s birthday 🎂🥳

The winner of the Amazing Race is still yet to be announced… scores have been counted 👀🏆

Congratulations to Terry Bradley on reaching an incredible 5 year milestone with us! 🎉👏

Since joining HiQA in May 2021, Terry has consistently proven himself to be one of our most reliable Senior Technicians. Currently working in our Projects division as a FIFO Senior Tech, his dedication, professionalism, and strong work ethic have made him a trusted and valued member of the team. 💪🔬

Terry holds a Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques and is continuing to build his expertise by undertaking the Diploma in Laboratory Technology, a testament to his commitment to growth and excellence. 📚✨

Thank you, Terry, for your hard work and contributions over the past five years. We look forward to celebrating many more milestones with you in the future! 🎊🙌
