Winter looks a little different among the vines.

Slow mornings, crisp air, a glass of wine by the fire in our Cellar Door, or a glass enjoyed in your cottage, and the kind of stillness that makes you want to stay a little longer.

We’re running seasonal winter specials across our vineyard cottages all winter long, the perfect excuse for a South West escape.

Head to our website to explore availability and plan your stay.

Over 10 years ago, we began the gradual shift from organic farming to biodynamics.

For us, the decision wasn’t simply about moving away from chemicals, it was about looking more deeply at the long-term health of the soil beneath the vines.

Biodynamics encouraged us to think beyond inputs and focus instead on soil biology, vineyard balance, and the property as a living ecosystem.

Over time, we’ve seen stronger soil structure, healthier vine resilience, and a vineyard that feels more connected to the rhythms of the season.

It’s a slower, more hands-on approach to farming, but one we believe shows itself in both the vineyard and the wines that come from it.

Bold, smooth, and seriously delicious.

Our 2023 Windance Estate Shiraz is packed with dark fruit, spice, ripe plum, and a touch of vanilla, finishing long and velvety smooth.

A multi–gold medal winner across Australia’s leading wine shows, and proudly Demeter Certified Biodynamic.

This is Margaret River Shiraz at its best.

Cover crop seeding is one of the first steps in preparing the vineyard for the season ahead.

Traditionally, we’d begin sowing around this time of year, however after closely watching the weather patterns across the South West, we decided to seed ahead of the recent rainfall around 3 weeks ago, and it’s already proving worthwhile.

The early rain has helped the seeds establish quickly, meaning the cover crop can begin enriching the soil sooner, supporting microbial life, improving soil structure, and naturally helping suppress w**d growth before it takes hold.

Healthy vineyards begin from the ground up, and this is where much of that work starts.

Join the club. Come for the wine. Stay for the members-only moments.
Our membership is about more than what’s in the bottle, it’s about experiencing Windance Estate beyond the vineyard.

This June, we’re hosting our very first members-only tasting event in our private family cellar in the heart of Fremantle. Set within a heritage-listed building, the evening is designed as a relaxed, intimate opportunity to explore our wines in a different setting, alongside good conversation, music, and fellow members.

A little extension of Windance, brought to the city.

To join our membership community, head to our website to sign up and receive your invite to this event and future ones.
