Our offices are closed today in recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Today is a time to reflect, learn, listen, and honour the Survivors of residential schools, their families, and the children who never returned home.

We recognize that reconciliation is an ongoing journey and that meaningful change begins with understanding, respect, and a willingness to listen.

April 28th, the National Day of Mourning, is a day for all of us to take pause to remember those who have fallen ill, become injured, or lost their lives at work. One life altered or lost is too many.

At Forbidden Timber, we take our responsibility of worker safety seriously and endeavour to ensure our safety program and related policies are written with care and research. We commit to looking for innovative control measures, using evidence-based policies, and listening to worker feedback to continually improve and keep workers safe.

Please join us in holding a moment of silence today at 11am to reflect on the lives of workers forever changed by a workplace tragedy.

We’re continuing our tradition and this year, we will be giving away 10 beautiful Christmas hampers filled with festive treats and goodies to families in our community.
