Today’s plan: client work, CEO time, and at least three unscheduled cat check‑ins.

Having a “co‑worker” on my desk is a good reminder that growth doesn’t have to feel like constant hustle.

You’re allowed to build in pauses, play, and support.

Do you want to grow this year, but are worried it will just mean more chaos?

That doesn’t mean you’re not cut out for growth. It usually means your systems haven’t caught up yet.

Here are 3 signs your business isn’t growth‑ready yet (and how to start fixing each one this week).

Which one sounds the most like your world right now?

Spring is nature’s reminder that growth is intentional, not accidental.

Before you add more offers, more platforms, or more “shoulds” in your business, pause and ask:
– What do I actually want to grow this quarter?
– What am I willing to prune to make space for it?

This week, choose one thing to grow on purpose, and one thing to gently release.

Although it's hard to tell here in Alberta, we’re heading into planting season. 🌱

Before you plant new offers, new content plans, or new collaborations, make sure the soil of your business is ready.

This week, try this quick check-in:
• Is my client onboarding clear and repeatable?
• Do I have a simple way to track tasks (that I’ll actually use)?
• Do I have a simple content routine I can repeat every week?

You don’t have to fix everything before April.

Just choose one area you want to prepare for growth.

One system I’m taking into April: my weekly calendar ritual.

Every Friday, I sit down with my Google Calendar and my paper planner.

I transfer all my time blocks for next week (client calls in yellow, team meetings in blue, CEO time in purple, personal time in pink).

Then I fill the white space with the tasks I’ll actually do each day.

It’s simple, but it’s what keeps my weeks from turning into chaos and makes sure growth work (like CEO time and financials) is scheduled, not an afterthought.

Are you team digital, team paper, or both?

You’re not behind. You’re building something real.

Feeling like Q1 is flying by and you’re “behind”? It usually just means you’ve been doing the work of five people: CEO, marketer, admin, delivery… and probably a few more.

Instead of trying to “catch up” this week, try this:
➡️ Choose one project, offer, or client type you actually want to grow in Q2.
➡️ Name one task, habit, or commitment you’re willing to prune to make room for it.

Growth doesn’t come from doing 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨.
It comes from doing the right things more 𝘳𝘦𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘺.

If you feel like you’re behind, tell me one thing you’d like to prune this week. I might have a systems suggestion for you.

Feline Friday reminder:

Sometimes the most productive thing you can do for your business is… rest.

Your systems and strategy matter, but so does your energy.

How are you recharging before Q2 begins?

On my desk this week:
– A short list of Q1 wins (even the tiny ones)
– My ClickUp dashboard
– One feline co-worker (can you spot her?)

I’m spending the last two weeks of March asking:
“What do I want to grow in Q2, and how can I improve my systems to increase efficiency?”

If you’re in review mode too, a simple question to ask yourself:
What worked well enough that it deserves a repeat, and how can I make repeating it easier?

You don’t have to run on empty to finish strong! Take a moment to pause and protect your energy from burnout.

Here’s how to reclaim your time before the week wraps up:
• Reflect on what was worked on
• Simplify your schedule (one task, one meeting, one automation)
• Protect your peace, unplug unapologetically

Because rest isn’t wasted time. It’s the reset that helps you return with clarity and calm.

If building wealth or shifting your mindset feels overwhelming, there’s an easier way.

Start with a library card. A book that challenges you. A perspective you haven’t considered. It doesn’t have to be a massive investment, it just has to spark something new.

Today I picked up 𝘞𝘦 𝘚𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘈𝘭𝘭 𝘉𝘦 𝘔𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘪𝘳𝘦𝘴 by Rachel Rodgers and 𝘎𝘰 𝘉𝘪𝘨 𝘕𝘰𝘸 by Julia Pimsleur because sometimes the next level starts with one new idea.

Try it. See what it unlocks. And if it’s not for you, you can always return it and choose again.
