When our neighbours need us, we show up. ❤️

On August 17, the Bay & Associates team had the opportunity to take part in the Central Okanagan Community Food Bank's Emergency Hamper Build, supporting families and individuals impacted by the devastating BC wildfires.

For many of those receiving these hampers, the need goes far beyond putting food on the table. Some have lost their homes, their belongings, and so much of what they’ve built their lives around. In the midst of such unimaginable loss and uncertainty, a hamper may seem like a small thing - but it’s one way of saying, you are not alone.

We were grateful to spend the day alongside others in our community, helping prepare emergency hampers for those navigating an incredibly difficult time.

Thank you to the Central Okanagan Community Food Bank for the work you continue to do to support our neighbours when they need it most.

Our thoughts remain with everyone affected by the wildfires, and we’re proud to be part of an Okanagan community that comes together when it matters. 💙

❤️ Our hearts are with our Okanagan community.

It’s incredibly difficult to watch so many of our neighbours across the Okanagan and throughout BC face evacuations, loss and uncertainty as wildfires continue to impact our communities.

As a team that calls the Okanagan home, we believe that when our community needs us, we show up.

We’re proud to support a local Wildfire Family Meat Pack fundraiser in partnership with Mamas for Mamas, helping provide food to families who have been displaced by the wildfires.

For $35, you can donate a $50-value meat pack to a family in need. You don’t receive the meat yourself - your donation helps put food directly into the hands of someone who needs it.

We’re back home from an incredible few days at our region retreat at Sparkling Hill Resort.

We spent the day learning from a lineup of powerful speakers and conversations - from the future of our company and the growing role of AI adoption, to total cost reporting, the real-life impact of insurance during a cancer journey, and a memorable session from retired industry legend Brad Campbell.

What stood out most was the reminder that this industry is ultimately about people. Behind every policy, plan, and conversation is someone trusting us during important moments in their lives.

We’re heading home feeling refreshed, energized, and grateful for the opportunity to connect with colleagues from across the region. Excited to bring that energy back to what matters most: serving our clients and communities well.

Our annual BC Interior Region Retreat is officially underway at Sparkling Hill Resort & Spa. ✨

The week kicked off with golf, spa time (which Jamie and Sarah were thrilled by 😍), incredible views, and the opportunity to reconnect with colleagues from across the Okanagan before diving into the days ahead together.

Looking forward to a great few days of collaboration, connection, and conversations centered around how we continue moving our business forward in a client-focused way.

✨ What a night!

Our very own Kim Rideout, CFP, CFDS, had the privilege of joining a group of women at the Community Connections Society of Southeast BC last night for their "Money Monday event - Intro to Investing for Women". 🌳

It was an incredible evening of women supporting women, with open conversations about growing wealth, managing the cost of living, and taking those first steps toward investing with confidence.

One attendee captured it perfectly: "It was an inspiring night of learning and growing together."

Thank you to the Community Connections Society of Southeast BC, and to every woman who showed up and leaned in. We'd love to do it again! 💚
