North America does not secure a critical-material supply chain by simply extracting graphite.

It has to be able to process it, qualify it and manufacture advanced materials from it at scale.

Focus Graphite Inc. and C4V are taking the next step.

We have signed an MOU to evaluate a North American mine-to-anode platform combining Lac Knife’s high-purity natural graphite concentrate with C4V’s Green Anode Technology.

The starting point matters.

Lac Knife has demonstrated concentrate grades of up to 98.7% carbon through mechanical processing alone — without chemical or thermal purification.

C4V’s technology has already advanced through natural-graphite development and customer qualification, ultimately supporting a binding offtake agreement with a globally recognized U.S. EV and battery-storage manufacturer.

The technology was not the reason the commercial pathway failed to advance.

Now there is an opportunity to build on that technical foundation with Lac Knife.

When it comes to critical minerals, the strategic challenge is shared between Canada and the United States: building secure North American supply chains that reduce dependence on concentrated foreign sources. 🇨🇦🤝🇺🇸

just made the largest clean energy investment in North American history — nearly $70 billion in combined construction projects designed to expand clean power and unlock economic development across the Labrador Trough.

This week, Prime Minister Mark Carney highlighted Focus Graphite Inc.'s road and power infrastructure initiative as one of four strategic pre-development projects being advanced through Natural Resources Canada (NRCan)'s First and Last Mile Fund.

At the same time, we completed the next piece of the work.

An independent electrical study by Norda Stelo identified a preferred pathway to connect Lac Knife directly to Hydro-Québec Clean Energy's, three-phase 34.5-kV grid.

The implications are significant:

→ ~50 km of new power line contemplated in the 2023 Feasibility Study
reduced to ~27.5 km under the preferred strategy
→ Potential for Hydro Québec to construct and maintain the principal distribution infrastructure
→ Preliminary Analysis points to more than 50% reduction in Focus's direct power-related capital requirements assumptions in the 2023 Feasibility Study

Today, Prime Minister Mark Carney announced the largest clean-energy investment in North American history.

Focus Graphite and our Lac Knife Graphite Project were specifically named as part of Canada’s strategic investment in the Labrador Trough — including federal support to advance Lac Knife’s connection to Hydro-Québec’s power grid and regional road infrastructure.

The Government of Canada was clear on why:

“Advancing the development of projects that will support the battery and energy storage technologies this country and our allies need.”

The signal from Ottawa today is clear:

China's temporary suspension of export controls on dual-use graphite and materials expires November 10, 2026.

If the restrictions return, so does a familiar reality: tighter licensing, constrained supply and greater uncertainty for manufacturers.

Meanwhile, according to Research and Markets, the advanced carbon materials market is projected to grow from US$15.6B in 2025 to US$118.3B by 2033 - a 29.5% CAGR.

China's advantage in graphite isn't just mining. It's processing.

The fewer processing steps required to produce a premium feedstock, the more competitive the supply chain can become. That's why today's result matters.

Our latest pilot processed ore averaging 18.9% total carbon and produced graphite concentrate grading up to 98.7% carbon through conventional mechanical processing alone.

🔥No thermal purification.
🧪No chemical purification.

Just the inherent quality of the hashtag deposit and a conventional flotation flowsheet.

For comparison, battery anode materials typically require purities exceeding 99.95% carbon after multiple downstream processing steps.

Starting with concentrate grading up to 98.7% carbon has the potential to simplify what comes next while creating greater downstream optionality.

Today, we're pleased to announce the completion of our Access Road Desktop Study for the Lac Knife Graphite Project and the selection of a preferred access corridor. The Study identified a route that maximizes the use of existing transportation infrastructure while creating the potential to reduce future infrastructure capital requirements and strengthen the overall development profile of the Project.

This work builds on the recent support we received through Natural Resources Canada (NRCan)'s First and Last Mile Fund and represents another important step in systematically advancing Lac Knife toward a shovel-ready development stage.

As we move into the 2026 field season, our team is focused on progressing the engineering, environmental, permitting, and Indigenous engagement activities that will continue to drive the Project forward.
