🚧 Big things are happening at our Oldfield Road facility.

We're putting the finishing touches on our new material recovery system, designed to recover more recyclable materials before they reach the landfill while improving the efficiency of our operation.

Once testing begins, incoming material will move through a series of conveyors, screening equipment, and manual sorting stations, allowing wood, plastics, metals, and other recoverable materials to be separated for their next use.

We're excited to give you a behind-the-scenes look at what's coming and can't wait to show the system in action once it's fully operational.

Clean waste wood doesn’t always end up where most people think it does.

At our material diversion and processing sites, incoming loads of clean wood are sorted, processed, and transformed into usable material that supports energy recovery and reduces what goes to landfill.

Every step in this process plays a role in keeping valuable material in use for as long as possible, instead of being buried as waste.

Most people never see what happens after the drop-off, but this is where a large part of the story actually happens.

When material is handled correctly at the source, it becomes something useful again instead of something discarded.

Recently, DL Bins donated soil to Warmland House and Outreach in Duncan to help support their community garden program.

Hearing that this year’s crop harvest is already showing major improvements makes it even more meaningful. We’re grateful to play a small role in projects that help bring people together and support the community in practical ways.
