As Remembrance Day approaches, we reflect on the courage, sacrifice and service of the men and women who have given so much for our country.

A few years ago, our team asked a simple question: How can we give back to the Veterans in our own community?

That conversation became Tanks to Our Veterans.

With the generous support of Rheem and EMCO Victoria, and installations completed by our Wade Roberts Plumbing team, we’ve had the privilege of bringing a little extra comfort into local Veterans’ homes, one water heater at a time.

This Remembrance Day, we’re honoured to continue that tradition by gifting five Rheem water heaters to local Veterans.

Know a Veteran who could use a little extra comfort at home? Nominate them for this year’s draw. We would be honoured to hear their story.

Meet Sarah, our newest (and fluffiest) jobsite supervisor! 🐶🐾

Sarah belongs to one of our wonderful longtime clients, Betty, and she had other plans when Matt showed up for work!

All Matt wanted to do was lay down his drop cloth, but Sarah decided playtime was a little more important. 😂

One of our favourite parts of visiting homes around Greater Victoria is meeting all the furry friends along the way. They might not be much help with the plumbing, but they sure make our days brighter!

This is one of those work moments that can look simple from the outside: two technicians, gloves on, shoe covers in place, and a bathroom job that has their attention.

Our WRP team photoshoot at Island View Beach had blue shirts, coastal wind, Lorie’s orange Crocs, and Ruby right in the middle of it all.

You can line up a whole plumbing crew, but the dog still knows where the camera is. A good afternoon by the water with the WRP crew and one very photogenic guest. 💙

If it is taking longer to warm up, the temperature is changing more than usual, or something around the unit looks different than it did in the summer, write it down.
